Now I just have to wait for it to get here, then take it down to the shop. So excited to get noise back in life (will sound close to this).

He still can. This is the exhaust part of it; there's no valve.

I've heard they only last a few years, and I'll have it open 99% of the time anyways. I just want to have the option to go back to stock if I ever need to.

Yupp, just another 50 bucks or so at a local shop to put it in. Can't really be a hundred buck (unless you just saws-all the mufflers off [like I did on my last car]).
